"Resting Dove" Sculpture has won an Art League All-Member Show Exhibition

“Resting Dove” tabletop version is the winner of All Member Show for the Fountain Hills Art League. The Art League was founded in 1980, an organization dedicated to creating and promoting the visual arts and artists in Fountain Hills and surrounding communities, with the goal of cultivating the arts and spreading cultural awareness which are essential to the well-being and giving back to our community. Fountain Hills is a town just outside Phoenix and borders Scottsdale in Arizona known for its impressive fountain, once the tallest in the world.

The abstraction in the piece as a dove represents peace of the deepest kind. It soothes and quiets our worries or troubled thoughts, enabling us to find renewal in the silence of mind.

The dove’s roles as spirit messenger, maternal symbol and liaison impart an inner peace that helps us to go about our lives calmly and with PURPOSE.
