"Reflection of Flight" Solo Exhibit by Ryan T. Schmidt at Scottsdale Airport

For the first time ever, Artist Ryan T. Schmidt has collaborated with two significant venues at Scottsdale Airport; Volanti and Ross Aviation at Scottsdale Airpark, who are hosting the Stainless Steel Sculptures exclusively for a summer exhibit titled "Reflection of Flight". The show is encouraging the viewers to reflect through the reflections from the sculptures that is capturing the atmospheric perspective of airplanes and jets as they land or take off. Schmidt's goal is to bring an uplifting vibe during the season while enjoying the surrounding mountain and gorgeous pink sunsets in the middle of Arizona heat! His hope is to bring out the feeling of inspiration especially in this world of uncertainty.

The pieces are currently On-View this month of June at Volanti Restaurant and Lounge located at 15000 N Airport Dr. Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Lead by Chef Pedro Loza, it serves a classic menu with a global cuisine focus. It is nestled on the runway offering unbeatable views of the McDowell Mountains and city below.

The life-size pieces are On-View at Ross Aviation through end of August, 2021 located at 14600 N. Airport Dr. Scottsdale, AZ 85268.
