Large-Scale Sculptures in Miami

We are excited to announce “Tango” is now in the heart of Downtown Miami next to Financial Metro Mover Station in front of BankUnited office building located at 1428 Brickell Avenue Miami. “Ascension” was placed at the same venue earlier this year.

Both pieces won Top 25 on public vote sculpture category during Artprize in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ascension (built for the City of Beverly Hills Centennial Celebration in 2014) was placed in Grand Rapids Public Museum in 2015; Tango was at the reflection pool front entrance of Gerald Ford Presidential Museum this year. Over 1500 artists across the globe participated in Artprize and attracted more than half a million visitors making it the most attended public art event.

"ASCENSION"

Message from the Artist, Ryan Schmidt:

“The motivation to express my passion for art is inspired by my spiritual relationship with our creator. From tabletop to atmospheric monuments, inspirational thoughts and contemplation of existence are portrayed through my artwork as an extension from the true source of creation. Simplicity and importance of life is what I am encouraging through the reflections of sculpture.”

Ryan Schmidt’s mission is to share the gift of inspiration through reflection with the passion for stainless steel, and desire to build sculptures that will last for many generations to come.
