This monumental 8.5-foot version of Free Bird Sculpture was commissioned by a private collector in Boca Raton, Florida, to harmonize with the stunning natural surroundings of a lake and golf course. Handcrafted in type 316-L non-corrosive by artist Ryan T. Schmidt, the piece explores themes of freedom through an abstract form with the dynamic motion and unrestrained flight of a bird in midair framed by palm trees. The sweeping curves and fluid lines of the sculpture reflect the artist's vision of liberation, while also engaging with the surrounding landscape to create a sense of both connection and transcendence.
