About the event

International Sculpture Center is showcasing sculptures of their featured Sculptors that has already already in March 4th 2020 and is still on-view through April 15th. Featuring Ryan T. Schmidt's large-scale sculpture "Resting Dove" it was exhibited at the Celebration of Fine Art until the show cancelled during the corona virus outbreak in March. Here's the link to the Art Exhibition

"Resting Dove" is a one-of-a-kind stainless steel sculpture, hand-fabricated, in mirror finish inspired by atmospheric reflection invoking the viewer's imagination for inspiration of great healing and thoughtfulness. As you engage with the sculpture, the reflection from the sculpture moves in different angles. The Artist views the sculpture with the dove as symbolic of new beginnings, peace, fidelity, love, luck and prosperity. It uplifts the eyes, signifies new beginnings and true celebrations in flight. The Resting Dove design is one of the unique designs made by Ryan Schmidt known for his sweeping arcs in curvilinear and triangular forms, with sleek lines and elegant feature. The aesthetics brings brilliant and complex mirrored images of organic transformation in the surface of the form as contrast between existence and illusion. Through these curves and smooth lines, his sculpture encourages the feel of free-flowing spirit.

Artsy in partnership with the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, will also be donating 10% of its proceeds during the month of April from artworks acquired from its campaign "Art Keeps Going" art collection.
